US State Department has US$500k deal with under-fire data firm Cambridge Analytica
Cambridge Analytica’s parent company received nearly $500k from the US State Department under Barack Obama to combat online propaganda. Worth noting is the fact that the State Department also engages in propaganda to influence foreign politics. For instance, USAID funded Ukrainian groups to overthrow the Ukrainian government.
