Here is my (mike!‘s) set from 12/5/08. It was a celebration indeed, celebrating the release of Marty McCahill’s CD Songs About Tigers and the release of Laura Collins’s art work into the world. So me, Pat Janulis, Marty, and the band Slide Theory played a full ass set. This was my second time playing in front of a group.

Here’s a song Patrick Janalius of Pattycakes and the Riffers played last week at Murphy’s Bar in Forest Park, IL. Ouro preto is Latin that translates into English as chronic blunts, referring to the tragic suffering of Van Gogh during his period of chronic blunt head pain. The paintings he painted during that period, however, are childish at best.
